Valley College Curriculum
Learners in Valley College are aged between 19 – 25 years old and are taught according to the pathways at entry level.
Many subjects are taught by specialist tutors in various classroom environments, such as The Flat (Real Life Home Environment), The Garage Cafe, the Business Enterprise Room, the Training Room and the Den (Retail training).
Internally and externally accredited courses are used to award and recognise learner achievement, especially in key skill areas. Acquiring skills in preparation for leaving college is fundamental to achieving the best future for these young adults.
Open Awards accredited courses; Entry Levels 1-3 and Entry Level 1. Qualifications cover a range of Vocational and Personal Learning including employability.
Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT – Entry Levels 1-3 and Entry Level 1 (if appropriate)
