PACE 4 - Careers Event
PACE 4 learners have had a positive second week back this term. They participated in a Careers event held at Highfurlong School, where they utilised and demonstrated excellent communication skills to successfully promote the College to other learners, advocates, internal and external professionals. Learners honed their Functional Numeracy skills before the event by researching timetables and discovering different routes and modes of transport, to determine the distance between Valley College and their destination. They then applied their Functional Literacy skills by contributing to their chosen sessions within the booklet to showcase their work.
