Learners this week have accessed multiple Football Clubs and Cricket Clubs within the local area during their Community Engagement as part of Sports and Leisure. Learners had the opportunity to meet with two gentlemen outside of AFC Fylde who were the Commercial Manager and the Chief Operations Manager. Learners used speaking and listening skills to communicate with the staff who told them a lot of information about the club and the things they offer to the community and the wider area. Learners also accessed three different local cricket grounds. Learners observed the grounds and compared them while noticing any differences and similarities. Learners enjoyed sitting in the sun and taking in the surroundings.
